Joel Vanderlaan is a freelance journalist and content creator that resides and works in Trenton, Ontario, Canada. 

 

I am a self-starter, hard worker and personable collaborator with valuable work experience in both the American Hockey League and Ontario Hockey League. 

 

Joel previously worked as the Content and Communications Coordinator for the Belleville Senators. He also provided content support for the Niagara IceDogs for two seasons.

 

He obtained a certificate in Media and Communications from World Wide Sports Management and completed a sports analytics course to expand his skill set.

 

Throughout my work experience, I have been tasked with various writing assignments, research projects, and statistical data entry. I always strive to maintain a high standard of quality and professionalism, ensuring that all content is error-free and effectively communicates the intended message.
